Which triathlon distances does Slow N Steady cover?+
Slow N Steady has four plan levels for each race distance: Sprint, Olympic, 70.3, and full-distance (140.6) triathlon. Options range from first-race or return-to-training plans to high-volume plans for experienced athletes.
Are the plans based on polarized training?+
Yes, but they do not force every week into a fixed 80/20 ratio. Most training is controlled aerobic work. Harder sessions, recovery weeks, and the taper change with the race distance, plan level, and phase of training.
Are there beginner and advanced triathlon plans?+
Yes. Every distance has four levels. Compare the plan length, number of sessions, starting weekly hours, peak weekly hours, and three complete sample weeks before you buy. If two levels look possible, start with the lower one; consistency beats an ambitious plan you cannot recover from.
Is there a subscription?+
No. At launch, plans will start at $9.99 as a one-time purchase. The plan and its workouts stay in your library, so you can schedule the plan again or use individual sessions later without a monthly or annual fee.
Can I buy workouts without a training plan?+
Yes. At launch, the standalone cycling and running workout library will cost $4.99 once. It includes 105 rides and 82 runs built for use outside a training plan; these are separate from the plan workouts.
How does the 7-day guarantee work?+
After purchase, review the complete schedule and test the device handoff you intend to use. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, contact us within 7 days of purchase for a full refund. Refunded products are removed from your library.
How do I buy and use a plan?+
Preview a race distance and plan level that fits the hours you can train consistently. When the iPhone app and purchases open, buy the plan on the website, use the same sign-in in the app, then set a start date or race date to place the full schedule on your calendar.
Which watches, trainers, and workout platforms are supported?+
Slow N Steady guides timed runs directly on iPhone, creates native Apple Watch workouts, and exports running and pool-swimming planned-workout FIT files for compatible Garmin devices or generic file sharing. Wahoo running workouts currently require manual recreation through a supported provider, and Wahoo swimming is not supported. For cycling, the app controls supported Bluetooth FTMS and Tacx FE-C-over-Bluetooth trainers and exports Apple Watch, ZWO, ERG, and planned-workout FIT formats. These are device and file handoffs—not direct Garmin or Wahoo account sync. See Device support for exact requirements and limitations.
